THE YANGTI YOGA INAUGURAL RETREAT
Tantric Healing: Nourishing the Yogin(i) within
Ritual, Healing, and Transformation with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
December 17th - 19th 2024
Join us in Northampton, Massachusetts, for three rich days of ritual, practice, and instructions in support of the tantric yogin(i)'s path. Dr. Nida is internationally known for his instructions on Sowa Rigpa and has been an important figure in bringing the unique therapeutic methods found within the context of the world of Tibetan Medicine to the broader world. These techniques can be radically effective and quite accessible serving as a tremendous benefit for dharma and Sowa Rigpa practitioners alike.
Skillfully knowing how much healing is needed in these modern times is an incredible way to bring benefit for both self and other. This program focuses on various healing and ritual methods that are accessible to everyone whether they be practitioners of Sowa Rigpa, or meditators wishing to enrich their practice and address health obstacles with the tools available to them. The program will begin with teachings on the Yuthok Nyingthig and Sowa Rigpa from which Dr. Nida will offer the Yuthok Nyingthig Essential empowerment. Following this, we will focus on various ritual healing methods from the Yuthok Nyingthig and beyond working with the vajra armor mantra of Dorje Gotrab, Hormé, Moxabustion, and La Hooking.
This program will provide both integrated group practice, practical teachings and workshops on the above topics with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, evening protector practice, and group celebrations to commemorate the opening of our Retreat center.
This unique and enriching program is suitable for practitioners of all levels and traditions.
This program is offered both via livestream and in person.
